There are several different subdivisions located in Corolla with many being on the ocean side and sound side.  The views in Corolla are absolutely gorgeous whether you be on the ocean side or sound side.  Corolla offers many shops, restaurants and activities for the whole family.  The famous Currituck Lighthouse and The Whalehead Club are located in Corolla and offer many activities throughout the year.    The area is surrounded by the Currituck Sound on the west side and the Atlantic Ocean on the east side.  Corolla is a fantastic area for vacation property rentals as investments or even your primary or second home.
